Just finished hand winding some lovely Quince & Co skeins into balls. I have a ball winder but for some reason I always prefer to do this by hand when I’m hand knitting. I think you get a nice feel for the wool before you start! Next I will start swatching for a new design I’m thinking of!

The wool is Quince & Co’s Chickadee in the following shades (clockwise from bottom left); rosa rugosa, slate, egret, franks plum and damson. So far its lovely, very soft and springy and the colours are gorgeous!
