Mizzlin

The perfect introduction to stranded colour work!

When I was designing Mizzlin I wanted make something that would be the perfect project for knitters who are new to colour work, but would also be a fun project for more advanced crafters! Knit in the round, the majority of the colour work is knit in the body with simple decreasing at the crown, and finished with a contrasting pom pom. The fit is relaxed without being too slouchy when worn with a folded band.

Also included in this pattern is information and advice on how I approach colour work, including helping get your tension right, choosing your yarn, holding your yarn and swatching in the round, complete with photos.

This pattern is for you if:

You're looking for an introduction into colour work or a simple stranded project to add to your hat rotation!

This pattern is not for you if:

You hate knitting twisted rib for any longer than 5 mins! Also if you prefer a fitted crown this may not be your hat.
